The IROAD X30 captures 1440p QHD front and 1080p FHD rear recording, providing four times more clarity than standard HD resolution. Its 2560x1440P resolution with 5.0M pixels and Sony IMX335 sensor delivers clearer and sharper images with significantly enhanced video quality, even in low-light conditions, and with little-to-no over-exposure across the entire image, makes it an excellent choice for day and night use.
By applying the Sony Stavis sensor to both the front and rear cameras of the IROAD X30, the image quality is significantly enhanced, particularly during nighttime recording. The sensor delivers clearer and more vivid colors in QHD images, ensuring superior image quality in low-light conditions. It’s worth noting that the front camera records in QHD, while the rear camera records in FHD, providing you with clear and detailed footage from both angles.
X30 will automatically start an Event recording when motion or impact is detected during parking mode, as well as when impact is detected while driving.
Event files are saved separately and can be viewed through both PC Viewer and the IROAD Mobile App.
In the case of taxi or ride-share drivers especially, who often face safety concerns while working, IROAD recommends using the IR Interior Camera as the 3rd channel option.
The IR Interior camera records in FHD and is equipped with infrared LEDs which allow the recording of high quality footage even in low-light conditions.

The IROAD X30 is equipped with a Road Safety Warning System that provides audio and visual alerts for Lane Departure (LDWS), Front Collision (FCWS), and Front Vehicle Departure (FVDW). It detects road markings and gives voice warnings to drivers if the vehicle starts to drift from its lane or if there is a risk of an imminent crash.
LDWS works by having the front camera recognise the road lane in real time. If the driver falls asleep or drives poorly, causing the car to depart from the lane, it will alert them with a preset warning sound.
When the car is stopped at an intersection or in traffic, FVDW alerts the driver when the vehicle in front starts to move, preventing delayed departure.
The FCWS function calculates the average distance from the vehicle in front and alerts the driver in advance when reaching the range of safe breaking distance in order to prevent a collision.
The GPS data in the IROAD X30 can precisely pinpoint the vehicle’s location and routes on the map, while also displaying the driving speed. This helps to more accurately assess the situation and the circumstances in case of an accident.
155º WIDE ANGLE LENS
The 155º wide angle lens provides an extensive field of view, significantly reducing blind spots. This ensures that every scene visible through the front windshield is fully captured.
BATTERY DISCHARGE PREVENTION
To safeguard the vehicle’s battery from discharging, the dash cam monitors the battery’s voltage and automatically shuts down when it drops below a predetermined level. This voltage cut-off point can be adjusted in the camera’s settings.
HIGH-TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
The IROAD X30 model is built to endure both high and low temperatures in order to keep the device running smoothly. The high-temperature protection function makes the device automatically turn off in case of overheating, protecting both the device and the stored data.
HIGH-EFFICIENCY VIDEO CODING FORMAT
The file system’s stability has been enhanced by using the IVS system. Recordings are automatically saved in a main memory unit, making them much safer than previously used formats. The IVS format does not require regular formatting, and the automatic rebooting function ensures the safety of both the device and the data.
