PX-Series Power Amplifiers are specifically designed for motorized vehicles with small battery/charging systems, and in an incredibly small footprint that can be installed in motorcycle saddle bags or fairings, glove compartments and other previously unusable spaces.
Two ground-breaking models of PX power deliver in the toughest places, giving music lovers the answer for their recreational vehicles. The full-range PX100.2 Stereo Amplifier (50 watts RMS x 2 @ 2 Ohms Stereo, 14.4V) and PX200.1 Monoblock Amplifier (200 watts RMS x 1 @ 0.5 Ohms, 14.4V) are great for motorcycles, UTVs, boats, golf carts, ATVs, snowmobiles, tractors and even hot rods, and they’re recommended to pair with specific KICKER powersports speakers to offer an audio system that weekend warriors have been seeking for years.
PX-Series Amplifiers’ diminutive size (both models only two inches high and 3-1/2 inches wide) and their uncanny coolness during operation is mostly due to a KICKER first – Direct Amp Technology™, meaning the amps use the host vehicle’s charging system as its power supply for amazing 90-percent efficiency. As a result, the PX100.2 draws less than 10 amps at maximum output, and the PX200.1 less than 15 amps for solid power output without taxing the limited charging capacity found on motorcycles, utility or other vehicles. Little ventilation is required.
The sound output is undeniably KICKER. PX Amps take into account real-world, open-air listening in powersports applications, smartly directing precious power where it succeeds – in the 40-to-250-hertz frequency range where a biker or rider can truly hear and feel it in the open air. It also contains a differential audio circuit that reduces engine noise in the audio system for low T.H.D. (total harmonic distortion) and superb clarity at high volumes.
Made for the outdoors, PX Amps are weather-resistant with a conformal-coated circuit board for extra protection against the elements. It also includes no-rust, stainless-steel mounting hardware. A single Molex plug contains all wiring connections.
KICKER PX Amps utilize a speaker (amplified) or low (pre-amp)-level input, variable input gain adjustment and two auto turn-on modes (DC offset or 12-volt trigger). The PX200.1 monoblock includes a 24/dB/octave, subsonic filter fixed at 40 hertz, and a selectable, on/off bass boost of +6 decibels centered at 60 hertz.
The PX100.2 Stereo Amp is recommended for use with KICKER PS5250 Powersports Coaxial Speakers or KM-Series Marine Speakers and Tower Systems. The PX200.1 Mono Amp is recommended for use with the 6-1/2-inch (1 Ohm), KICKER CompVT Powersports Subwoofer.
